Dispositions Digital Plan Submission
The Alberta Public Lands and Forests Division in conjunction with Corporate Strategic Services implemented the Digital Integrated Dispositions (DIDs) Project, August 1, 2005. The project was completed October 1, 2009, and has mapped several types of active surface activity extents on public lands. New activities, amendments and renewals are mapped into the provincial base daily.
Alberta Energy Regulator (AER)
In December 2013, the AER took over as the single regulator of energy development; from application and exploration, to construction and development, to abandonment, reclamation, and remediation. To accommodate the move of certain approvals that were previously held by Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development (ESRD), 5 new codes were added and incorporated into the DIDs & DID+ mapping products.
Provincial Park Dispositions (TPR)
To accommodate the inclusion of dispositions issued under the Provincial Parks Act, 15 new CODES were added and incorporated into the DIDs & DID+ mapping product in March 2014.
Digital Plan Preparation
The Alberta Government maintains the Digital Plan Submission Standards & Procedures and the submission process.
